Senior Parents: the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) deadline is April 15th to ensure eligibility to receive state/federal financial aid for college. Despite what is being reported on several news stations, Crawford County Schools will be in session tomorrow, Tuesday, November 19th. A delegation of teachers will be traveling to Indianapolis to show our support of RedforEd, but school will proceed as normal.
Due to cold temperatures, Crawford County Schools will operate on a 2hr delay today, Tuesday, November 12th. FAFSA Day at the High School will begin at 10:20am instead of 8:20an and conclude at 7:00pm.

We will be open Tuesday from 8:20AM to 7PM with staff from Heavin College & Career Readiness Services available to help you. A note from Nurse Allen for all incoming 12th graders: Up-to-date immunizations are required by August including the required Hep A series and 2nd Meningitis vaccine. Call the Health Dept at (812) 338-2302 for an appointment or questions. Students not immunized properly or do not have a medical or religious exemption on file are not allowed to enroll in public school.
First of all, I would like to thank the entire community for your support throughout this morning. All students are in class and school is proceeding as normal using our two hour delay schedules. All schools will be following lockout procedures today as a precaution. Parent Scheduling Day at the high school has been postponed to Monday. All extracurricular events will proceed as normal.
Thank you for your patience. Earlier this morning, due to a social media post, law enforcement officials notified school administration that a bomb threat was made toward the High School. State police along with county and local officials have conducted a search of the building with the trained bomb dog. The building has been cleared of any threat. We will go ahead with our normal two hour delay schedule for all schools. All high students can expect to be searched with a metal detector as they enter the building this morning as an added security measure.
We have just been notified of a potential threat against Crawford County High School from a source outside of the district. While we do not have much information at this time, we have decided to run on a two hour delay at this time to allow authorities time to investigate further. Additional information will be sent out as we learn more regarding school today.

The boys basketball game at Corydon will go on as scheduled tonight, January 12th.
The girls basketball game versus Paoli has been postponed to next Saturday at the same time as scheduled. The decision about tonight’s boys game at Corydon will be made at 1:00pm.
Due to damaged transformer, Crawford County Schools will be dismissing early today. The high school will release at 12:30pm. Boys & Girls Club will not be operating. Mr. Key will be attempting to send out an all-call, but we are switching vendors and are not confident if it will work properly. We apologize for any inconvenience. Please share!
