See you at graduation!

Please see the flyer!

Huge thank you to the Student Council for preparing our Teacher Appreciation Breakfast this morning. It was a delicious way to start our Friday!

We have had a great week celebrating our teachers and staff with good food and treats, prizes, and student shout-outs! We are so thankful for the staff we have at CCHS! Thank you, teachers, for your hard work and dedication not just this week, but every day!

CCHS would like to thank the Louisville UA Local 502, Jeremy Killebrew, for a great day of hands-on learning. The Advanced Welding classes visited the 502 and spent the morning welding and learning techniques to prepare for future welding certifications. The 502 was generous enough to donate all the materials needed and even donated products back to our program for our students to advance their skills. Jeremy also took our students on a tour of the many different areas of the 502 school including, rigging, pipe fitting, plumbing, and HVAC.

Congratulations to our seniors earning dual credit!!

Congratulations to our Indiana College Core graduates through Ivy Tech. Four of our students chose to participate in graduation festivities at Ivy Tech on Monday- Addison Harris, Leah Byerly, Desiree Campbell, and Madison Lewis
These students will be recognized at our CCHS graduation with green cords.

CCHS Families: The InvestED FAFSA workshop for tonight at the high school has been postponed. Some text messages don't seem to be going through. A darte will be announced soon to make this up! Sorry for the inconvenience!
Our CCHS FFA Welding and Livestock teams went to the Western Kentucky University Field Day contest earlier this week. High Schools from all over Southern Indiana, Kentucky and Tennessee attended the field day. The Welding contest consisted of over 70 welders from Seniors to Freshman. Crawford FFA team did well as they individually placed 3rd, 4th, and 5th of over all welders. Luke Adkins was 3rd, Kaelyn Clutinger was 4th, and Tyler Gabhart was 5th. The team of these three and Alaric Kaiser won the team competition by 9 points! Alaric Kaiser's strong showing helped the team with the successful win.
The Livestock team had a good day as well. Leah Byerly had a good day as she had the same score as the winning individuals. Tie breaker questions kept her out of the top spot overall. The team of Leah Byerly, Madison Lewis, Payton Stephenson, and Bella Koch took top team in the team contest, winning by 10 points!. Jayden Lahue and Connor Morris also were very strong contestants with their scores matching the scores of the other Crawford Judgers! Great job!!!
