

Crawford County led the pack at the Young Women Lead Conference at VUJC today. Gabby Mills spoke in front of hundreds of participants on stage and the girls took part in various classes including entrepreneurial leadership, relationship building, self-defense, and self-care through yoga. We are so proud of our girls!

Last week, our CCHS welders participated in the District 11 FFA Welding Competition. In the 9th/10th beginner division:
Alaric Kaiser- 2nd place (state qualifier)
Kaelyn Clutinger- 5th place
Conner Morris- 7th place
Dallas Byerly- 10th place
Both freshman/sophomore teams qualified for the state competition finishing 3rd and 4th.
The11th/12th advanced division (and one very talented 10th grader):
Tyler Gabhart -1st place (state qualifier)
Luke Atkins-6th place
Piper Thompson-8th place
Sylvia Ferriell- 21st place
Luke and Tyler won the team division, qualifying for state, and outscoring the 2nd place team by 62 points!
We have some talented kids!!!








Our Crawford County FFA students traveled to Indianapolis for two days to attend the National FFA Convention. They attended the FFA Career Show, Student Leadership Workshops, and the 4th general session in Lucas Oil Stadium. The FFA is currently taking orders for their fruit fundraiser! Contact an FFA member or Andy Howell for more information. Orders need to be placed by November 13.
