From farm to table...in this case, from garden to desk. Our 2nd grade students planted, watered, and picked their kale. Today, along with the Purdue Extension Office of Crawford County, the students were able to feast on their hardwork. Many staff members also took advantage of the fresh snack as well.
There were a few faces made, but overall, most students ate an entire bowl or more of fresh kale (many used ranch dressing, but we have to start somewhere).
A huge thank you to Gail and Molley for making this happen!
