South Crawford Elementary School is seeking donations to make the upcoming school year a fabulous experience for our students. We need your help to make this happen. We are amping up our PBIS efforts to boost the climate of the school and promote a positive learning environment.
There are many ways that you can help us make this happen. Below are ways to contribute:
*Donate coupons for a free item from your business
*Donate a monetary amount to help us buy shirts, and reward items
*Sponsor our Den shirts for staff and students
*Donate gift cards that can be used for us to purchase items or give out to students or staff
*Sponsor a teacher luncheon, snack, coffee, etc
*Purchase smart snacks for students
*Give items that we can use in the PBIS store for students to purchase with their earned POWER BUCKS
*Host a SCE night at your business with a percentage of the sales donated to SCE
*Donate 150 items for the students of the week for the entire year.
*ANY OTHER GREAT IDEAS THAT YOU HAVE!

We are leaving the school at 9AM, to get to Holiday World at 10AM. We will depart Holiday World at 5, to get back to the school at 6PM. Please be here for them to have a ride home😊.

**LUNCH IS PROVIDED AT HOLIDAY WORLD
**Holiday World is cashless.They do have kiosks to turn cash into a card with money on it.Restaurant won’t be open.
**IF IT STORMS AND RIDES ARE CLOSED FOR 90 consecutive minutes at anytime, our tickets will be refunded for a later use.
**Holiday World has sunscreen and free drinks!!

We have several activities planned for the last week of school. Please ensure that you have signed permission slips or provided written permission as required for your child's participation. You are invited to join us for the Talent Show on Tuesday and the Awards Program on Wednesday.
Each student received a pair of Eclipse Glasses provided by Crawford County Recreation and Tourism last week. Please check backpacks!

This is an important reminder that Crawford County Schools will be closed on Monday, January 15th.
Due to already rising water throughout the county with heavier rain still in the forecast and the high wind warning this afternoon making traveling less safe for our buses and student drivers, all Crawford County Schools will release two hours early today, Friday, January 12. Also, there will be no boys elementary biddy ball tomorrow. This is also a reminder that there is no school Monday in honor of Dr. King's birthday. Thank you, stay staff, and stay warm.

Join us at Beef's in Corydon on Saturday, December 9 for South Crawford Spirit Night! Mention that you are with South Crawford Elementary when you dine in or carry out and Beef's will donate 15% of your pre-tax total bill to the school.
Parent/Teacher conferences are scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 5th from 4:00-8:00 pm and Friday, Oct. 6th from 8:00-11:30 am. Please call the office 812-739-2210 to arrange a meeting...time slots are filling quickly. Friday, Oct. 6th will be an eLearning Day for students. Assignments should be turned in on Monday, Oct. 16th.
