Good Evening WCE families,
If your student(s) will NOT be riding the bus home after school, please send a note indicating how your child will be getting home. A note will be required to change afternoon transportation. We do understand that emergencies come up, but we ask that last minute phone calls be kept to a minimum.
Thank you

I’m proud to share that WCE has successfully completed the Literacy Cadre for the 2024–2026 academic years! 📚✨

This experience has been a valuable opportunity to strengthen literacy instruction, collaboration with other educators, and gain new strategies to support student growth in reading and writing. We're grateful for the learning, the teamwork, and the chance to continue improving how we serve our students.

With end of the year Field Day, Field Trips, etc., we wanted to remind everyone of the school's Sunscreen Policy:

SUNSCREEN
According to Indiana Code (SEA 24) students may possess and use sunscreen while on school property or at a school-sponsored event
or activity. Sunscreen must be topical, non-aerosol sunscreen that is FDA approved for the purpose of limiting ultraviolet light-induced
skin damage. School personnel may NOT assist students with the application of sunscreen without written parent permission. Students
may not share sunscreen with others and must only apply to themselves.
