CCMS: Tomorrow is Picture Retake Day. Additionally, our school will be participating in a fundraising competition alongside neighboring schools. Students and community members are encouraged to donate new socks, hats, or gloves for the Bryce Gerlach Fundraiser. A representative from Bryce's family will ensure that these items are distributed to families in need. Furthermore, the school that collects the most items will receive a donation for physical education equipment. Thank you for your support!

CCMS: This is the final week of the grading period. Parent-teacher conferences are scheduled for October 2nd from 4:00 PM to 7:45 PM and on October 3rd from 8:00 AM to 11:15 AM. Teachers have been reaching out to the families they need to meet with; however, you may also contact the office at 812-365-2116 if you would like to schedule a conference.
Please note that Fall Break will take place the following week, and students will return to school on October 13th. Thank you.

CCMS: Good morning! There has been some confusion on the shuttle routes from the elementary to the middle school. This has not changed from previous years and transportation will be available from the elementary to the middle school.

CCMS: Open House/Title 1 Annual Parent Meeting is July 30th. The 7th & 8th grade session is from 5:15 - 6:00 and the 6th grade session is from 6:00 - 6:45. You may attend either session if you have a conflict or have multiple students.

Good afternoon! You can register your child online through your Family Harmony account. You are also welcome to visit the school on July 24th from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM to complete the registration in person. If you have any questions or need to schedule an appointment due to a conflict with the date and time, please contact the office. Thank you.

CCMS: Next week will be a busy one with various field trips and our upcoming awards ceremony. Please note that the awards ceremony has been rescheduled to Friday, May 23rd. CCMS Families: Dr. Thill will be here on May 15th and 20th to give FREE sports physicals for any incoming 6-12th grader wanting to participate in a sport next year. These are good for one calendar year. All 6-12 students wanting to play a sport must have a physical on file to participate. CCMS: Parents/Guardians please make sure your child is aware of afternoon arrangements (practice, clubs, BGC, car-rider...etc) before they leave for school in the mornings. We have had an influx of students wanting to call home in the afternoons to make afternoon arrangements.

Attention CCMS and CCHS Parents: Our Band and Music fundraising materials are expected to be delivered on 4/22/25. These materials will be sent home with the students on this day. If your child sold cold items, please make sure to get them refrigerated as soon as possible. Thanks again for your support during this fundraiser! We appreciate your help!

CCMS : We would like to remind students and families that yearbook order forms were due prior to spring break. However, we have received a limited number of orders. To accommodate those who have not yet ordered, we will be accepting orders until 9:00 AM tomorrow morning. The cost of the yearbook is $20, and payment is required at the time of ordering. 7th & 8th grade parents, We are in need of a few more boys to play Jr. High baseball this spring. It is not too late to play. Those interested can stay for practice on Monday, March 31 from 5:00 - 6:30. Please contact the athletic department @ 812-365-2116 if you have any questions.

CCMS: The laundry detergent fundraiser items are ready for pick-up. Please come to the front of the school and we will help you load your items. Also, please avoid the times from 2:50.-3:05 due to the students exiting the building. We will be available until 6:00 this evening. Thank you for supporting our students and school.

CCMS: Our school has partnered with Smile Programs...the mobile dentists to offer in-school dental care. The in-school dental program provides dental care from licensed professionals. The care includes a dental exam, x-rays, cleaning, fluoride and sealants when necessary, and in some cases, restorative care such as fillings. All insurance is accepted including Medicaid and CHIP. For those without insurance, a low-cost self-pay option is available. Even better, dental care is usually at no cost to you. The clinic will take place at the Middle/High School on Thursday, April 3. Consent forms have gone out and need to be returned by Friday, March 14. There is also an online option to register for the program. www.MySchoolDentist.com
