CCMS: We are having some issues with student supervision during our extracurricular events. Please remember that middle school students must not be left unsupervised. Our students are welcome and encouraged to attend our games and extracurricular activities but they must be accompanied by an adult. Please help us ensure that our students are safe and properly supervised while attending school events. Due to the extreme heat, there have been some changes to athletic practices and event schedules. Please see the updates below.
PRACTICES
Cross Country: Practice will take place indoors.
Middle School Tennis: Practice is canceled.
EVENTS
Middle School Cross Country: Postponed to September 17.
Middle School Tennis: Postponed to September 29.
Junior High Football: Delayed start — 7:00 or 8:00 PM (TBD)

CMMS: Good morning! Please be mindful of the time and location when dropping off your child in the morning. Buses are entering the parking lot and dropping students off at the front entrance between 7:45–8:15 a.m.
For everyone’s safety, car riders should be dropped off at the Gym Annex on the south side of the building and should not be dropped off at the front entrance.

CCMS: We are asking for parents/guardians support in reminding students to leave toys and “squishies” at home. These items have become a distraction in class. Any of these items brought to school will be confiscated and returned at the end of the day. Thank you for helping us keep our focus on learning.

CCMS: We are excited to begin our new school year. and welcome our students back tomorrow morning. Open House/Title 1 Annual Parent Meeting is this evening. The 6th grade session is from 5:15 - 6:00 and the 7th & 8th grade session is from 6:00 - 6:45. You may attend either session if you have a conflict or have multiple students.

You are also welcome to visit the school on July 23rd from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM to complete the registration in person. Schedules are subject to change. CCMS: The Holiday World field trip has been rescheduled for tomorrow. Buses will depart the school as soon as the awards ceremony is over @ approximatley 9:30.
CCMS: The previous message was sent before school was canceled. We are not going to Holiday World today. We are trying to arrange transportation for tomorrow. Another message will be forthcoming after arrangements have been completed.
CCMS: We are still planning to go to Holiday World. The tickets have already been purchased and cannot be refunded. If you choose not to attend today, you may use the ticket on another date; however, there is an additional $20 fee per ticket that you will pay at the entrance of the park.
CCMS: The remainder of the school year will be a busy with various field trips and our upcoming awards ceremony. Please note that the awards ceremony has been scheduled for Thursday, May 21st.

CCMS: All middle school wrestlers need to stay after school Wednesday for the wrestling banquet. Pick up will be at 4:30.
CCMS: We hope everyone enjoyed break! Tomorrow is an eLearning day. Teachers provided instructions before we left for break. There will be no virtual class meetings, but teachers will be available via email for any student questions. Students will return to school on Wednesday. School will also be in session on Good Friday as a snow make up day.
CCMS: Yearbook order forms are due today. Please call the office if you still need to order. We will place the order at the end of the school day today.
