This experience has been a valuable opportunity to strengthen literacy instruction, collaboration with other educators, and gain new strategies to support student growth in reading and writing. We're grateful for the learning, the teamwork, and the chance to continue improving how we serve our students.

With end of the year Field Day, Field Trips, etc., we wanted to remind everyone of the school's Sunscreen Policy:
SUNSCREEN
According to Indiana Code (SEA 24) students may possess and use sunscreen while on school property or at a school-sponsored event
or activity. Sunscreen must be topical, non-aerosol sunscreen that is FDA approved for the purpose of limiting ultraviolet light-induced
skin damage. School personnel may NOT assist students with the application of sunscreen without written parent permission. Students
may not share sunscreen with others and must only apply to themselves.

Friday, April 10th is our annual Arts Fair. This fundraiser is how West Crawford pays for our students to participate in Art and Music during the school year. Please join us from 5pm to 7pm for a Pork Dinner, silent auction and family craft. Our Spring Book Fair will be open and student artwork will be on display. We look forward to seeing all of our students and families!
CCCS WILL be in session tomorrow Friday, April 3rd. This is a make up snow day from February 4th.
Also, Arts Fair pulled pork dinner tickets are coming home with students, for those who purchased them. Meals can still be bought on the night of the Arts Fair if you did not buy a meal ticket.
Thank you
Reminder that March 31st is and E-learning day. Students should have brought home a packet that is due when students return on April 1st.

Good Evening WCE Families,
Spring Break is next week, starting March 23rd and will continue through March 30th . Students will bring home E-Learning packets today for the snow make up day April 31st. These packets are due when students return to the building April 1st.
Have a peaceful and relaxing Spring Break!

Parents and/or guardians MUST contact the school office regarding sick students. Emailing or texting the teacher is not sufficient as that information may not be communicated to the WCE office staff. We cannot excuse an early pick up without a doctor note, unless the school nurse or office staff has called to have a sick student picked up. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact Principal Allen. Thank you!

Track practice will begin today immediately after school. Students need to be picked up at 4:30 pm this afternoon.
Please let the school office know if your student will be staying after school, if you haven't already notified us.
Thank you
Students who ride Angie Laswell's bus will be late arriving home. They will be riding Tim Field's bus home.
Thank you.
This is a reminder that CCCS will be in session Monday, January 19th.
Students are free to wear IU apparel in support of Indiana Football.

Good Evening WCE Families. For our Christmas Program tomorrow Dec. 11th, students will need to arrive by 5:45 pm. We will open the doors at 5:40 pm. Students will need to head down to their classrooms. Parents and guardians will go straight to the gym. Please have your student leave their coat or jacket with you, instead of taking it to the classroom with them. We can't wait to see you all!
Jumping Jasper order forms by Friday, Dec. 5. Thank you!
